The primary feature of this diverse park is the historical canal and its towpath - a sixty-mile hike and bike multi-use trail. For nature lovers, the park offers many miles of river shoreline, 11 river islands, Giving Pond recreation area, and Nockamixon Cliffs natural area. Enjoy the ever changing scenery. Park educators offer public programs every weekend between memorial day and labor day at the Lock Tender's House Museum in New Hope.
