As a Guest Service Representative, you are the face and voice of customer service and hospitality for our business. This position includes all components of our front desk operations, including use of our computerized reservations system to facilitate and manage bookings. Extensive phone contact with potential guests. The greeting and check-in of arriving guests. Basic office administrative tasks (i.e. filing, billing, running reports, responding to emails, etc.). Communication and collaboration with other departments (i.e. housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) regarding campground operations. Other general duties as assigned. Position Overview Our Housekeeping Team is an important part of our Guest Services Team, and is responsible for ensuring we deliver an amazing guest experience at every interaction. Our Housekeeping Team provides our guests with impeccably clean facilities. We pride ourselves on spotless floors, smudge-free mirrors, and perfectly tucked beds. Housekeeping Team Members are responsible for the overall cleanliness of the campground, performed in an efficient and timely manner. Areas to be cleaned include public spaces, facilities and campground buildings. Duties & Responsibilities As with all positions on our team, live Team Outsider’s values, helping to create extraordinary experiences for our guests while performing the responsibilities of your position. Perform scheduled daily, weekly and monthly cleaning programs for specific buildings and facilities. Use the right cleaning chemicals appropriate for the items you are cleaning, and only as trained. Do not mix chemicals or use them straight out of the original container. Team members must take appropriate safety measures, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary, such as gloves, boots, goggles, etc. Bring all lost and found items to the main office with site / cabin number and date on them. Valuable items must be given directly to a housekeeping supervisor to ensure it is locked up immediately. Provide excellent and friendly guest service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to all guests’ needs. Always greet guests with a smile. Always maintain a well-groomed appearance, a proper uniform and name tag. Track and submit to the campground's General Manager a list of all supplies that must be replenished, (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, etc.) Report all broken or damaged items on the premises and within all campground buildings and facilities. Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to the General Manager and follow-up as required, to resolve the issue. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Must be able to hear and speak clearly, and communicate comprehensively. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 80%). Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb. Position Overview The Guest Services Team is responsible for ensuring we deliver an amazing guest experience at every interaction. We’ve never met a stranger who didn’t quickly become a friend. And, we love to help our guests find what they need, even when they didn't know they were looking for it. Our guest experience begins and ends with you, from the time a reservation inquiry is made to the time our guests check out. Guest Services Team Members are responsible for our front desk, guest registration, escorting guests to their campsite, firewood sales, store sales, and all guest-facing relations. Duties & Responsibilities Live Team Outsider’s values while providing superior guest services, in person and over the telephone, by being enthusiastic, attentive, friendly and helpful. Greet all guests with a smile and a positive attitude. Be attentive to all guests, being careful to address all guest issues in a respectful and timely manner. Follow all guidelines and procedures regarding the handling of registrations, reservations, store sales, and refunds. Follow specific cash and credit card handling procedures and properly use the computer, cash register, credit card, and various other front desk equipment. Manage inventory stock counts and cleaning of front office and store, on a regularly scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Coordinate and ensure the safe and successful execution of all on‐site activities, including food service and themed events. Become educated on local and national advertising and discount programs. Promote local attractions, store sales and special offers, and referrals to other company-managed campgrounds. Seeking someone part-time for the 2024 season (April-Sept) to assist with cultivating a beautiful environment at our campground and wedding venue. Attention to detail and efficiency are important, followed by a true love of the outdoors and a desire to create picturesque landscapes. The candidate will have knowledge related to/assist with: The care of existing plants, flowers, shrubs, etc. throughout different flower beds/gardens on the property, which includes mulching, watering, weeding, fertilizing, and pruning. Identify new plants, flowers, shrubs to plant in existing or new flower beds/gardens. Understanding the different species of plants/flowers, how sun exposure impacts them, when to fertilize and trim, etc. Weeding gardens as applicable.
