Title: Housekeeping/Venue Cleaning Supervisor Role: Full-Time Non-Exempt - (must average 30+ hours/week) Hours: Varied based on work schedule. Expect to work on average: Three weekdays from 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM One weekend day from 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM Two weekend nights either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun night from 10PM to 2AM Job Description: Supervise housekeeping staff Monitor performance of housekeeping staff Perform annual reviews with housekeeping staff Build schedule for two or more weeks in advance for housekeeping and venue cleanup Maintain checklists/build expectations for quality turnover of cabins Assist with Cleaning Cabins and Event Venue Cleaning surfaces, bathrooms, showers, and floor mopping Removing Trash Replacing Linens (e.g. towels/bed linens/table linens) Replenishing condiments/hygiene items Deep clean and perform other routine maintenance as needed Assist with Venue flipping for next event Interpret floor plans and layout event space based on the next event (includes adding more tables and chairs or removing tables and chairs, etc.) Put on linens, glassware, napkins as applicable Inventory Control Monitor inventory levels for cabin linens (including weekly re-ordering) Assist with monitoring and re-ordering inventory related to housekeeping Assist with laundering company owned linens Assist with Groundskeeping Weed and trim flowerbeds around venue/cabin/campground Assist with shoveling snow as needed Work designated hours in the Campground Store (if applicable) Operate Point-of-Sale software to sell store products Check-in/out guests and collect guest payments Drive Golf cart around within the park to different work locations Assist as a helper for an event at Catalpa Grove if needed Any other duties as assigned or you see needs attention. Experience / Requirements: 2+ years of housekeeping experience Experience with setting up for events/weddings a plus Able to lift 30lbs Highly organized and strong attention to detail Good communicator and time management skills Able to pass drug screenings
